When Are Tours?

  • Tours prior to 2017-18 registration will typically take place on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 9:45, 10:30, and 11:00, but the days and times may vary slightly.
  • Tours will take place on the following dates by appointment:

What Should I Expect On A Tour?

  • Park near the playground.
  • When you arrive, please push the remote access button by the entrances and indicate that you are here for a tour.  You will be given remote access into the building and an administrator will greet you.
  • There will be more than one family on the tour in most instances. 
  • You will be escorted by an administrator through all aspects of the program – music, media, rainy day playroom, clinic, offices, playground, and classrooms. 
  • Your child is welcome to come with you.  Many parents do make other arrangements for their children because it is more difficult to see everything and hear all that is being said while trying to also manage a young child.  If you bring your child, strollers are a good idea as are snack items and small toys.
  • You will be able to see into classrooms.  We will not go into a room where children are actively engaged.  This is to prevent disrupting the schedule and demeanor of the children in the room
  • You will visit a number of classrooms so you can see the environment in more than one room.
  • You will be given a packet of materials and will be asked to complete a visitor’s card.
  • The tour will last approximately 30 minutes.

What Requirements Do You Have For My Child To Be Enrolled?

  • Children in the 1s classes must be walking by September 1, 2017
  • Children in the 3s classes must be potty trained by September 1, 2017
  • A current immunization form must be given to the school by Parent Nights in August (Date TBA)
  • A student health form must be completed by your child’s pediatrician by Parent Nights in August (Date TBA)

How Do I Register My Child for 2017-18?


January 11

Church Member Registration for 12-18 and 18-24 month classes.
Location:  Preschool Office

Currently enrolled students must return pre-registration packets for priority registration

9:45 a.m.

Registration for 3 groups:

  1. Church member for children between 2 and 5 as of Sept. 1, 2017
  2. Alumni of the program for all ages
  3. Young Fives and siblings

Location Room 226

5:00 p.m.

Community Registration for all ages
Location – Indoor Playroom (Rooms 133 and 135)

  • At the time of registration, you must pay the $125 registration fee, and the first of ten tuition payments.

After My Child Is Registered, What Can I Expect?

  • You will make the second tuition payment by May 1, 2017
  • There is a new family orientation on April 25, 2017 from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.
  • You will get a letter in the summer from your child’s teacher and from the school
  • You will get a telephone call from your child’s teacher during the first weeks in August.
  • If your child is in a 1s or 2s class, your child’s teacher will make a home visit in August
  • Your child’s teacher will arrange for a class play date in August for parents and children to come to the preschool playground to meet one another.
  • There will be a Parent Meeting in late August (Date TBA) for all parents
  • The first day of school will be in late August (Date TBA) and will be gradual entry days
  • You will pay tuition payments 3 through 10 during the months of September – April.  (Kindergarten has a separate tuition payment plan.)

What If My Plans Change and My Child Can No Longer Attend?

  • Registration fees are not refundable
  • Tuition paid in advance is refundable if notification is given by June 30, 2017 less a $50 handling fee. Pre-paid tuition for Pre-K and Kindergarten is not refundable at any time.

Do You Have Openings for 2016-17?

We have openings in various classes.  Call to find out what classes currently have availability.

What Happens If the Class I Want for My Child Is Filled?

You have two options:

  1. You can put your child on our waiting list.  We will call you if openings occur.
  2. You can register your child for another class and also put your child on the waiting list for your first choice.  Currently enrolled children or families who have siblings enrolled have preference over those on the waiting list without any association to the program.

What Do I Need to Do to Register My Child?

  1. Complete the Student Information Form
  2. Come to the preschool to
    1. Turn in the student information form
    2. Complete and sign one additional form
    3. Bring one check for the $125 registration fee (non-refundable)
    4. Bring a second check for the first tuition payment for 2016-17

  3. A second tuition payment will be due by May 1, 2016 or before school starts depending on the date of registration.
